Darrell Brooks Juror Controversy
Jennifer Dorow who is a judge by profession informed the court about the post which was posted online on Reddit and it came out that the person was calling himself/herself a member of the jury. Jennifer added in the court on Tuesday that someone who was claiming to be a member of the jury is posting on Reddit by adding justice for Darrell. While it was revealed that posting something from inside of the court or the case is prohibited as per the Wisconsin jury handbook. The jury just began this trial where Darrell was accused of driving into the parade riding his other’s SUV and eventually killing six people while he injured dozens of others in the parade. He went without caring about the people in the parade.

The post which was posted online on Reddit stated as follows, it was mentioned in the post that the person who posted is not looking up the trial but the trial was pointed as a frequent issue for Brooks. The post which was posted anonymously was questionable as it parted with the criminals and secondly, it was questioning the jury as well as the judgment as well. Susan Opper who is the district attorney opened up about the post and said that the post showed support for the criminal and opposed the court. Opper said that she doesn’t believe that a member of the jury said that on the internet and that post might be posted by someone in the courtroom but not the jury members.

Dorow said in a statement that she would allow the case to proceed as planned but she is concerned about the post. She added that as there is no credible evidence regarding the post, it can be said that the person might not be a part of the jury, She further added that a team will investigate the issue and will find out who is the person behind the posting such a misery online, as it was against the judgments by the court and also was claiming to be a jury member. After an hour of the judgment being passed about the investigation, the user posted again and said that he was just pranking and did not though for a second that it would cause such chaos, while he apologized for his post.
