The grape was dropped from a long building which is 520 feet and 5 inches and the name of the building is Shawmut Bank building. He also secured his place in Guinness World Record. From the year 1957 till the year 1959, he served in the Army of the United States and was stationed in France. As he secured his place in the world record for catching grapes, he used to give a lot of interviews on Television shows including ones with Johnny Carson and Regis Philbin. On 23rd July 1982, he comes up on Tonight Show telecasted. He was a great man and also did things for public service and used to go to hospitals for kids. He loves to serve the well-being of the people. A demise notice stated that Paul Tavilla passed away in the month of November 2014. But nobody knows what is the reason for his sudden passing. Might be he is in his 80s when he lost his life. After his sudden demise, he left behind his wife named Mary Jane.
