Who Is Journalist Siddique Kappan’s Daughter?
Mehnaz Kappan was the girl who went viral because of her speech on the occasion of the 75th Independence Day. Mehnaz is the daughter of a journalist named Siddique Kappan who was arrested earlier and his daughter gave a speech this Independence Day asking for the system indirectly to free her father from jail. Siddique is jailed and he was jailed last year, his daughter’s speech moved many people as she innocently said to free her father. He was jailed in the Hathras Conspiracy case in 2020 October and he is currently in UP jail spending his time in jail. He came once to Kerala to meet his 90 years old mother and he returned five days later.

Mehnaz, Siddique’s daughter said in a speech spoke about the imprisonment of her father. She added that dozens of people were forced into a dark room, and she also said that her father as well was jailed. She added that on the auspicious occasion of the 76th year of Independence she wanted to say that the rights of the civilians were curtailed and it should not be driven away from the citizens of India. Initiating her speech with Bharat Mata Ki Jai, she added that the Indians were having the right of right to speech and that dignity of our nation should be not compromised. She indirectly asked the officials to free her father and also asked the officers that the violence caused in the name of the religion on the civilian should be removed.

Mehnaz is the youngest daughter that Siddique had and she moved many people by saying her speech on the stage. She spoke about religion and also the rights of the civilians that the freedom fighters fought for. She is a heed girl for the GLP school in Malappuram, Kappan. She openly spoke that the citizens of India have the right to select the right to eat, sleep and prefer religions of their will and nobody has the right to call upon them. Her speech indeed many as she asked about her rights and asked the officers indirectly to release her father. Although there is much appreciation for the little girl, there is no update on her father has been given out.
